Fuel Taxes
Your quarterly fuel report, calculated and filed on time, with the numbers straight in case of an audit.

What it is
Fuel Taxes are what you pay on the fuel your commercial vehicle burns in each state. The quarterly return crosses two numbers per jurisdiction: miles driven and gallons purchased.
That difference decides what you owe or get back. Getting it right matters more than it looks: it is the first document a state reviews in an audit, and errors compound quarter after quarter.
You need it if
- You hold an active IFTA license
- You ran in more than one state during the quarter
- You have unfiled quarters piling up
- You want to stop doing the math by hand
What documents you need
- Miles driven by state for the quarter
- Fuel purchase receipts or report
- IFTA license number
- List of vehicles in operation
How long it takes
Filed within the quarterly deadline, with complete data in on time.

What happens if I file late?
A flat penalty plus interest on what you owe, and repeated late filings can lead to IFTA license suspension.
Can it come out in my favor?
Yes. If you bought fuel in high-tax states and drove miles in cheaper ones, you get a credit.
Can I use my ELD data?
Yes, and it helps a lot. Send us the mileage report from the device and we cross it with your purchases.
Can you catch me up on back quarters?
Yes, it is one of the things we do most. We rebuild the open quarters and file them in order.
